The City of Mandurah has installed innovative software for school students
in Mandurah Library and the Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre.
The YesTeachMe program is designed to improve scientific literacy and
numeracy skills of the community.
The installation is a first for a library in Australia, and covers the Western
Australian Maths and Science curriculum for years 1 to12.
In addition users will have access to over 30,000 online assessments part
of this curriculum.
Mandurah Mayor Paddi Creevey said that the YesTeachMe program was
an outstanding online tutoring service, making maths and science fun and
much easier to learn.
